Diets don’t work!! …. And I will tell you why.
1. 1. Diets teach you that you must be perfect, or you are a failure! Somehow you are a bad person, or weak, if you can’t stick to it. This creates a psychological battle that will put anyone into a form of depression. If you’re depressed you won’t want to stick with ANYTHING. If you feel like you aren’t good enough then you won’t stick with it!!
2. 2. Diets are all about restrictions. No matter what age we are, we don’t like being told what to do!
3. 3. The word “diet” suggests a time limit
4. 4. Everyone knows diets make people cranky!! “ain’t nobody got time for that”. By the way… if your body hates being on this diet YOU SHOULDN’T DO IT!
5. 5. Diets normally cause added health issues.
6. 6. You don’t feel connected to your family or friends when you have a meal. Nobody likes to be the odd man out.
7. 7. Diets teach your listen to THEM and not your body… which is your most powerful health and weight loss tool.
8. 8. Your energy drops. On a healthy lifestyle plan your energy will rocket!
